Andean highlands. During the Spanish conquests it was taken from Peru to Spain

plant potatoes and have patience.
Place the
potatoes you want to sow in a fresh space with natural light for 6 weeks or
until you see the shoots appear. It is advisable to start this process once the
last frost has passed. If you want to get small potatoes leave 5 sprouts or
more in your potatoes, instead if you want some large potatoes sprouts until
there are only 3 per potato.
