Although
utensils silicones there for several years, until not long ago in the kitchens
there were only some spatulas of this material, but fortunately, the situation
has changed and now we have a variety of them, like rose
cake mould, and I say luckily because they are very easy to use, clean,
extremely practical and with a colorful brighten our kitchen.
The
silicone baking molds (seashell
mould, lunch boxes, etc.) meet all requirements that may require
resisting any cook oven temperatures and freezer, microwave and the ravages of
the dishwasher, are non-stick, flexible and lightweight, they are saved easily
and they will not rust. In addition, some have been designed with a colorful
modern cheerful and that look in any kitchen.
For
best results, follow these tips:
Before
first use, the silicone molds, like pig
cake mold, should be washed with warm water and soap, .
In
use follow the instructions as regards maximum temperature (240C) and minimum
(-40C).
Being
flexible, they should be placed on a tray (with a manageable edge, if possible)
in both the freezer and the oven to prevent the content from being deformed.
Molds
for scones and muffins can be introduced into another metal.
Although
silicone is rapidly cooled, keep in mind that the oven is maintained at high
temperatures so it is important and necessary to protect your hands with
mittens to avoid getting burned.
Do
not use sharp knives or other pointed tool, as silicone may be perforated.
The
smaller molds, to be able to move inside the dishwasher from one side to the
other, should be washed by hand with soap and water.
To
prevent mass remains sticking to the mold, spraying with a little oil or dust
with flour before use.
